If anything, it helped for a short time, but never got my skin fully clear. Within two weeks the breakouts stopped and I have been 99% clear for over two months with major reduction in oiliness and no side effects, unlike accutane. I have suffered from acne for almost half my life (I am 24). I have tried everything under the sun to cure it. You name it, I've tried it. ProActive, RetinA, RetinA Micro, Gelderma, Accutane (not to mention all of the over the counter products I have wasted money) on and the list goes on. This is the first time (other than the Accutane which as a side effect caused me severe depression) that anything has worked for me.
